The consequence of workplace incivility among IT employees: Workplace stress or organizational citizenship behavior?

چکیده

The impact of the work environment on employees has been well researched, with little focus pathways such relationships. This study aimed to examine whether workplace incivility and personality predict stress organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). role John Henryism (JH), Probabilistic Orientation (PO), self-efficacy, resilience OCB was also explored. data were collected through a survey using self-report measures perception fair interpersonal treatment in workplace, incivility, JH, PO, stress, from 206 (M=120, F=86) IT industry, aged 22 42 (M=30.47, SD=5.60). Multiple regression analyses revealed that (from supervisor client) positively predicted stress. At same time, coworker did not On contrary, (supervisor, coworker, clients) significantly. JH self-efficacy OCB, while PO negatively OCB. research provides new directions for future is by client incivility.
